We're lucky enough to own a fully furnished condo with a spectacular WATER VIEW of a wildlife sanctuary in lovely Venice, Florida on Florida's Gulf Coast.

And the reason we can afford to own this condo is because we rent it to "snowbirds" every winter!

And now for a tip on where NOT to Stay!

Several years ago (September 2002 to be exact) my wife and I took a trip to California's Napa Valley. The trip was wonderful EXCEPT for one B&B at which we ALMOST stayed - The Elms in Calistoga, California. It was such an awful experience that I decided to post the exterior photos we took of this dump on my Web site in the hope that anyone planning on staying there might come across them while surfing the Web for info on this place and reconsider their decision!
